DOUG LINNEMAN, brother of our president, leads and participates in the development and execution of customer engagements. His industry expertise includes real estate, healthcare and technology. Doug has been an active member of the Riverbend team since its inception in 2002 and he has over eighteen years of leadership, management and marketing experience in the aforementioned industries.

During his six years at Riverbend, Doug has worked in a broad range of sectors within the healthcare industry, which he has utilized to strengthen his previous medical industry experience while working in the marketing department of Johnson & Johnson Medical. In terms of real estate, Doug served as vice president for The Paces Foundation, an Atlanta-based nonprofit affordable housing developer. He has been involved in the development or redevelopment of over 1,500 multifamily rental units, which required him to work closely with brokers, lenders, contractors, property management companies and other development firms. Prior to moving to Atlanta in 2001, Doug was a senior account executive for Springbok Technologies, a high tech media relations and marketing communications agency in Dallas, Texas.

Doug holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from SMU’s Cox School of Business where he concentrated in entrepreneurship and marketing. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts from the University of Delaware. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Jennifer, and participating in athletics. He is an active member of the Peachtree Road United Methodist Church and SMU, where he is currently serving a three-year term on the school’s Alumni Board. Doug is a Lifetime Member of the National Eagle Scout Association.
