Our Name
Robert Frost's poem, The Road Less Traveled, has been a guidepost for our president’s life. In searching for a name to emulate the same concept of staying true to one’s integrity, ethical code and dreams, the lyrics of two songs came to the forefront: Disney’s Just Beyond the Riverbend and Garth Brooks’ The River.
Just Beyond the Riverbend parallels Frost’s poem exactly in that it references coming to a fork in the river, then choosing the fork ("path") less traveled. The River speaks to "daring to dance the rapids", while maintaining the Lord as your captain -- supporting our president's beliefs of embracing chances to pursue your dreams while adhering to integrity.
