Example One

Overview:

 

2-Year Strategic Planning Retreat.

Issue:

  VP of division needed to put together a plan for a 2-year strategic planning retreat – she wanted something new as compared to past years.

Need:

 

A new retreat design and 3rd party facilitation.

Solution:

  Riverbend recommended a framework for the retreat and proposed an agenda, as well as pre-work for the executive team. Upon agreement of the format, Riverbend facilitated the retreat to help keep the group on task, focused, challenged, and pushed for results. 

Result:

The session resulted in an immediately executable action plan from which the executive team could drive accountability and results.

Overview:
 

Leading (“on-stage”) full day of company national meeting

Issue:

  Department was concerned about the pending impression their day may have on the sales force and executive team, as they felt unprepared (lack of message consistency, critical impact to sales force, and platform skill polishing).

Need:

 

Presentation Skills/Speech Coaching

Solution:

  Riverbend was asked to help the entire department develop a relevant, compelling, and consistent storyboard for the overall department, as well as to provide individualized assistance in presentation development. After the success of the first session, Riverbend was asked to return for two additional days of one-on-one platform skills coaching.

Result:

Outstanding feedback on marketing’s presentations, as well as management team

 
Example Three
Overview:
 

Customer recently went through a merger of several divisions.  Sales forces are not aware of full portfolio of products; hence, missing out on solution selling opportunities and leaving revenue on the table. In addition, lack of relationships/teamwork across company due to not knowing their counterparts.

Issue:

 

Need:

 

The executive team needed sales and sales operations to be fully “in the know” on key products and services across four new divisions, as well as to initiate teamwork. 

Solution:

  Riverbend customized and facilitated its Amazing Race: Las Vegas ABL to meet the aforementioned needs. The ABL began with a rotation format of division education and solution selling discussion. The activity portion reinforced the learnings via each division’s key products/ services being the centerpiece of one leg of the race. 

Result:

Client was so satisfied that they recommended Riverbend to another division within their company that subsequently hired Riverbend for a sales program.
