Darren Hardy tweeted this last week and we could not agree more. In our Building High Performance Teams Workshop we talk about Positional Power vs. Earned Respect  – it is a critical component to having a successful team – your staff should follow you by choice not because they have to. We do not believe in KITA as a motivation strategy! As leaders, we should also know what motivates our employees – and not be sucked into the incorrect assumption that everyone is motivated by money.
