Happy Summer!

It is hard to believe that we are embarking on month #6 of 2018 already!  Like most of you, our 2018 started with a bang!

Riverbend had 18 projects in the first 19 weeks and Prepare to Roar had an epic expedition on the plains of East Africa.

Speaking of epic, Riverbend saw and responded to your passion for our EBL™ (experience-based learning™) programming. We delivered three S.E.A.L: Solidarity. Ethos. Agility. Learning. Training® EBLs with a fourth and fifth around the corner. We designed and piloted a new EBL™ – launching soon on our website (stay tuned on social @TheRiverbendGroup)!

The two hottest development topics in early 2018 were The CAR Model: Driving Influence® and the ever-present Customer-centered Communication.  A keynote on “Leading with Intelligence in Times of Stress,” as well as custom work on National Sales Meetings (themes, main stage kick off, sales competitions and simulations, team buildings, and breakouts) rounded out the start of the year.

As always, Riverbend takes time over the summer to ‘sharpen our saw’ as individuals and as a team.  We are writing new generation training content and are adding Myers-Briggs® and DiSC® training to supplement our passion for LIFO®.  We are also finalizing updates to three internal Riverbend processes: interviewing, on-boarding, and customer engagements – the same important processes we develop and consult on with clients like you!

Finally, we will be hosting our newest Riverbend South Africa team member, Liesl Eksteen (bio below), in June as we continue to grow EMEA and share best practices across both of our Johannesburg and Atlanta offices.

Wishing you a superb back half of the year.   July is the new January — go get after it!

S.E.A.L. Training™ EBL

Co-lead with Navy SEALs, this 2.5 day immersion is guaranteed to be completely transformational for your team. Unlock the missing piece in how your team operates through 4 keys to success demonstrated by Elite Special Ops Units : Solidarity. Ethos. Agility. Learning.

The CAR Model:  Driving Influence®

This workshop equips participants with skills to drive influence up, down, across, and outside their organization. Influential leadership is vital to success – especially when working in a matrix environment, not having direct reports, or participating on cross-functional teams in or outside the organization.
